In my experiences at save a lot on Palm Beach Blvd. the customer service is good to great. The staff are nice, very helpful and busy keeping the store clean and doing their jobs as I perceived it. It is a business that offers inexpensive products as is it’s projected rationale to do for a community that is primarily service staff therefore has earnings to match. The community surrounding save a lot is a blue-collar and white-collar society. I feel that save a lot serves the community to the best of its abilities. Customer service is great therefore it’s great to me. I will go there for what I want and will go to the stores that I choose to buy the rest of my groceries. The meat such as steak (ribeye) is about four dollars less per pound than anybody else’s and appears to be a drawing card for business. In every area from the meat to the checkout customer service skills were exhibited. It is my feeling that the parking lot is not a safe environment. It is sad to have to say that because I do so believe in the customer service exhibited from within the store. I am in a disabled parking spot so the closer you can get to the door the better. To my feeling there is an unsavory element that hangs around in the parking lot at times. I personally wouldn’t want to be there at night time with groceries that may take a few minutes to put in the car as bags and carry out assistant is not available at Save-A-Lot. Don’t forget to carry your reusable bags, but if you do for a few pennies each you can buy plastic bags.
